All Star Bluegrass Celebration
|
"All Star Bluegrass Celebration" lives up to its name as it captures an historic gathering of the living legends, the biggest stars and a new generation of bluegrass artists, all in one remarkable show from the stage of the revered Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee. Bluegrass trailblazer Ricky Skaggs hosts this program of pure and powerful performances, featuring Vince Gill, The Del McCoury Band, Alison Krauss and Union Station featuring Jerry Douglas, Dan Tyminski, Earl Scruggs, Ralph Stanley, Patty Loveless, Travis Tritt, Bruce Hornsby, Nickel Creek, and a tribute to the late Bill Monroe. The program ends with a stage full of pickers for an all-out jam finale of three bluegrass classics, including Monroe's fiery "Rawhide." Words can hardly do justice to the energy, the magical moments, the pure spirit and harmony displayed on stage. The music speaks for itself!"
